1. Clear the Origin Cache

Right-click on the Origin exe shortcut file on your PC.
Now, select Properties > Click on the Compatibility tab.
Make sure to click on the Run this program as an administrator checkbox to checkmark it.
Click on Apply and select OK to save changes.
3. Update Graphics Driver
Sometimes you may not be able to launch the Origin client on your Windows PC due to the outdated or corrupted graphics driver version. It’s better to check for the update and install the latest version to fix multiple issues whatsoever. To do so:

- Click on Run compatibility troubleshooter > Now, select Try recommended settings.
- Click on Test the program… to check if the issue has been fixed or not.
- Finally, click on Next > If the problem has been fixed, select ‘Yes, save these settings for this program’.
- If not, then select ‘No, try again using different settings’ > Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
- If it still doesn’t work then make sure to run the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter again and click on ‘Select this option to choose compatibility settings based on problems you notice’.
- Now, you can try performing some additional adjustments to fix the issue.
- Right-click on the Origin application file > Select Properties.
- Click on the Compatibility tab > Select the checkbox next to the ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for:’ and select Windows 7/8.
- Make sure that both the ‘Disable fullscreen optimizations’ and ‘Run this program as an administrator’ option.
- Click on Apply and then OK to save changes.
5. Change High DPI Settings
- Right-click on the Origin application file > Select Properties.
- Click on the Compatibility tab > Click on Change high DPI settings.
- Click on the ‘Override high DPI scaling behavior’ checkbox to enable it > Select System under the ‘Scaling performed by:’ option.

6. Update Windows

Click on the Compatibility tab > Select the checkbox next to the ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for:’ and select Windows 7/8.
