Former Teen Mom Farrah Abraham said that Jenelle Evans called her after being fired from MTV. Evans, who has been on the MTV show since 2010, was cut from the network and asked Abraham for advice.
The former Teen Mom 2 star voiced her frustration with MTV back in July when they opted to fire her following her legal issues earlier this year. Evans became a Teen Mom fan-favorite after getting her reality TV start on the TLC show 16 and Pregnant, where viewers got to see the then-teenager give birth to her first son, Jace, back in 2010. The network continued to follow Jenelle after she pulled out a gun last year during a road rage incident. But it was when her husband David Eason reportedly shot and killed their family dog, Nugget, that MTV decided to part ways with the controversial reality star. Despite the dog’s death case getting closed, Evans was not asked to return to Teen Mom 2.
On Jonathan Chebans’ Foodgod: OMFG podcast, Abraham talked about her own life after being fired from Teen Mom in 2018 following her decision to pursue a career in the adult film industry. On the podcast (via ET), Abraham also spoke about how Evans contacted her for advice after she was booted from the network. She said, “Jenelle called me the other day and she’s not knowing what to do.” She continues, “She’s talking to a PR girl rather than the legal team, and I was like, ‘Uh, you have a situation.’” Even though Abraham answered the call, she didn’t seem particularly interested in helping Evans.
Abraham recently bashed Evans for making all the wrong choices back when news broke about Easton’s dog killing incident. Abraham explained how the call with Evans went, saying, “She was like, ‘How did you win that court thing?’ I was like, ‘It’s not how, it’s what you pay attention to.’” The former Teen Mom continued, “If you’re busy running around worried about press and relevancy and all this and not contracts, not what matters. I’m business.” Abraham explained that she’s burnt most of the bridges with all of the other Teen Moms saying, “I can’t say that I talk, like I’m friends with them. I talk like I’m an acquaintance,” she says. “But I think we lead much different lives, respectively so.”
Now that Evans and Abraham seem to have a common ground - being kicked from MTV - the friendship might be growing. Evans might be upset that she’s not returning to the popular MTV show, but Abraham claims that she’s the only one that could have pulled in such viewer numbers and is making demands for MTV in order for her return to Teen Mom. Some of the cast has spoken out, telling Abraham that not only are her demands ridiculous but that they don’t want her back on the show to begin with. It remains to be seen if either one of the controversial former Teen Mom stars will be making it back on the screen anytime soon.
