Fargo season 4 adds Orange Is the New Black’s Uzo Aduba to the cast. Created by Noah Hawley, and inspired by the Coen brothers’ film of the same name, FX’s Fargo premiered in 2014 with Billy Bob Thorton in a leading role. The black comedy anthology series has featured some of Hollywood’s finest including, Kirsten Dunst, Colin Hanks, Ted Danson, Jesse Plemons, Jean Smart, and Ewan McGregor.
Segued into television from the theater, Aduba made her on-screen debut as a nurse on Blue Bloods. Toting her character’s infamous hair knots for her audition, Aduba landed her breakout role as Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren in Netflix’s Orange Is the New Black. Aduba snagged multiple Emmy wins for her portrayal. Recently, the actress bid farewell to the series and her role as a bizarre, yet loveable, prison inmate. Now, Aduba intends to grace another show with her impressive performance skills. Following the end of season 3, a new installment of Fargo seemed unlikely. Headlined by Chris Rock, Fargo season 4’s cast has locked in pedigree talent including, Jason Schwartzman, Jack Hutson, Ben Whishaw, Mike Milligan, Jessie Buckley (Chernobyl), and Salvatore Esposito (Gomorrah).

Head of one of of the families, Loy Cannon (Rock) relinquished his eldest son to the opposing side, and both groups find themselves thrust into exploitation, assimilation, and transgression.
Fargo season 4 is in the creative hands of executive producers Joel and Ethan Coen and Warren Littlefield. Aduba’s list of credits continues to expand, as she stars in the upcoming film Miss Virginia. Furthermore, she will play Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm in the series Mrs. America, opposite Cate Blanchett and Elizabeth Banks. As of this writing, FX is eyeing a 2020 release for Fargo season 4.
